Hyping Up Greeley for Cascadia
Unleashing the future of Greeley and the ultimate destination of Northern Colorado
When a project has the potential to redefine a city, the role of marketing isn’t just to inform – it’s to spark anticipation.
Cascadia, a transformative new development in Greeley, Colorado, is poised to do exactly that. With a dynamic mix of entertainment, hospitality, and residential spaces, this district is set to become a regional destination. We were given the immensely exciting task of generating positive sentiment and optimism for what’s to come, and set the stage for a momentous new project.
Greeley at a Turning Point
Northern Colorado’s growth over the past decade has been nothing short of remarkable. Yet Greeley, while thriving in its own right, was ready for a development that could shift perceptions and elevate its profile.
Cascadia is that development. It’s a master-planned district anchored by a major hockey arena, indoor water park, hotel and convention center, and a vibrant pavilion of shops and dining. And in essence, it’s the “Catalyst” for what will eventually include millions of square feet of mixed-use commercial space, 1,000+ residences, and a new transit hub for the city.
This wasn’t just another project breaking ground; it was an opportunity to help set the stage for Greeley’s future.

Turning Vision into Momentum
The foundation of Cascadia’s brand was already in place, complete with a bold name, a confident logo, and a promise of big things ahead. And behind that vision stood a visionary and a development team with decades of success.
Our job at A+B1? Take that vision and bring it to the people – amplifying its energy, building curiosity, and creating a sense of optimism among residents and regional audiences alike.
To do that, we focused on:
- Messaging with impact: Leaning into the “Epicenter of” language – Epicenter of Hockey. Epicenter of Energy. Epicenter of Awesome. – to convey Cascadia’s diverse offerings and personality.
- Community-first positioning: Framing Cascadia not as an outside concept imposed on Greeley, but as something that locals could rally around as their own.
- Multi-channel activation: Reaching audiences where they live, drive, and scroll.

Bringing Cascadia to Life with Marketing
There’s nothing like taking a solid brand foundation and giving it a personality, a voice, and an attitude. Through multi-channel marketing with tailored messaging strategies, we gave the king its wardrobe.
Digital & Social Media
We launched cascadiacolorado.com as a hub for project updates and key messaging, designed to feel modern, bold, and full of motion. Social media channels on Instagram and Facebook served as real-time storytellers, introducing Cascadia to the public and keeping momentum alive with updates on progress and behind-the-scenes features.
Hype Video
Our hype video captured the energy of what’s coming—fast cuts, dynamic visuals, and a tone that screamed excitement. It became a powerful tool for presentations, social media, and stakeholder engagement.
Advertising
We strategically invested in digital where Greeley residents engaged the most – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and whitelisted websites. To overcome petitioning residents, media was strategically planned to create a burst of momentum that slowly tapered as the petition came to a close. The Hype Video was everywhere Greeley residents found themselves online.
We conceptualized and designed a full suite of on-site marketing signage for the project’s high-speed frontage along Highway 34 complete with bold statements like “Growing Now in Greeley” and “Unleashing the Future”. Paid billboards assumed prominent positions along major arterial roads leading in and out of Greeley, as well as a primely-positioned billboard in downtown that captures attention with excitement and optimism.
The Catalyst Effect
Cascadia’s early buzz is undeniable. The arena, indoor water park, and other elements of the Catalyst area have become rallying points for what’s possible in Greeley and Northern Colorado. By highlighting these features, our efforts are focused on shifting the conversation from “What’s coming and who’s paying for it?” to “When can we experience it?”
This momentum isn’t just about entertaining the marketplace – it’s about priming the marketplace for a new hub of commerce, connection, lifestyle and community pride.
We Love This Stuff
Working on Cascadia has reinforced why we love to do what we do: to help visionaries and community creators tell the story of their project in ways that inspire excitement and belief.
We’re proud to have played a part in generating the energy around this transformative project, and even more excited to see what’s next for Greeley as Cascadia continues to take shape.
