The theory of aging in place has been taken to the next level at Sonders in Fort Collins, Colorado. Our aging population is growing, and communities across the nation are crafting “age targeted” or “age restricted” opportunities. Sonders was built on the necessity of what our aging population requires: social, emotional and environmental connections. It’s the perfect place at the perfect time.
A+B1 has worked with the development team to rename and rebrand the community to Sonders, based on the intellectual concept of ‘Sonder’ – “the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” Moreover, A+B1 is initiating co-creation survey strategies to build affinity and learn from Sonders’ prospective residents.
